Recovery Group

This STAR Recovery program is designed to be used as a tool for Addiction Recovery Group Work. They provide an outline for sessions, giving structure and content for a range of topics to be discussed to promote recovery skills development. -The material can be used independently of STAR Life Courses for a stand alone group or as material to be used between STAR Life Courses. -Some of the themes discussed are similar to the STAR Life Course but there is considerable material covered that the Life Course does not touch upon. -While the 16 sessions take people on a progression through the recovery journey, please allow people to join the course at any time. -The course can easily be restarted at session 1 after session 16 has been completed and people can benefit from completing each session more than once. -Please ensure that members of your team have completed the STAR Life Course Team Training (in person on via the online learning hub) before using this material.
